I don’t know about you but I am always on the lookout for ideas and activities that are fun for the kids and the parents and have a nice reward at the end. As a kid I enjoyed to pick fruits and still look forward to it. There is nothing like the taste of a fruit eaten directly from a tree.
The fruit picking season is ongoing. Right now raspberries are maybe still on and apples are starting. We took this opportunity Valerie and I and we went last week to Butler’s Orchard. We picked 3 kg of raspberries, vine ripe tomatoes and all sorts of beautiful flowers. And then we made raspberries jam. You can imagine how good it is!
For those interested here are some addresses. Check their websites to see what they have on for picking as it changes regularly. Pumpkin patches will start in coming days. Always lots of fun for the kids. Later in the year, you can also get your Christmas tree.
