To share stories about expatriation, adaptation and cultural differences with our young members we are inviting them to write. We want to hear about their life in this country.
Our contest is open to IMFFA members’ children from 10 to 25 years old.
Out of fairness we will not evaluate them on their mastery of the English language but on the content of their writing.
Encourage your children to speak about their experience of moving in a new country, about adaptation, the positive aspects of being third culture kids, difficulties or easiness to connect with American kids, what they miss, what they like, how they feel in this international environment.
A jury of three people will select the winners.
Text length should be between 450 to 1200 words
Deadline to send your contribution : March 6th 2017
First prize : $60
Second prize : $40
Third prize : $25
We will also raffle a $25 Barnes and Noble card among all the participants.
Please send your text to the Chronicles editor, Valerie Lucchesi, at firstname.lastname@example.org with your kid’s age and an email address on top of the page so that we can get back to you about the results.
We are looking forward to your kids contributions.
